I have to take a moment to brag on my insanely talented friend @katcloutierart. I have OBSESSED over this painting of hers since I first laid eyes on it...literally, well over a year now. The original is in her husbamd's office and absolutely not for sale. However...after about the 99th time I asked, she finally agreed to do a paint of it for me, and I was excited to get my very own "Muse" print yesterday.
I immediately came home and had to hang it up at 9:00 last night. Her face is so insanely stunning in every way. And bonus, she's already putting good juju into my life today in a couple of different ways.
Thank you Kat for finally agreeing to make me a print...I could NOT love it more than I do. Affirmatively the first thing I will hang in my new home. She's a show stopper for sure!
I needed a piece of art for my audiophile music room to complement several pieces of art hanging on the walls. I heard about Kat's art ability while at work. I asked her to do a painting of Whitney Houston and Luther Vandross, two of my favorite singers.
They would complement and complete my wall of art in that room.
I asked her to paint them without direction except the size of the painting, but to use her creative abilities and surprise me.
Kat delivered a stunning work of art. Her painting of Whitney and Luther put my other works to shame. Her use of color was dynamic. The colors were rich and vibrant bringing an energy to the painting these two singers deserve.
The blending of colors was sublime.
The media Kat used, I'm not sure, probably watercolor. But the texture was perfect and complemented my other paintings I had shown Kat.
I highly recommend her as an artist to create memorable paintings that many will enjoy.
Kat did an amazing job capturing the essence of our relationship. Her creative process was deeply personal and allowed her to create a piece that was unique to us. I also loved hearing her explain her work based off of what she learned about us.. she uncannily got our relationship dynamic down to a T!
Her use of colors are also brilliant and her technique allows us to see something different every time we look at our piece. We look forward to having her work to enjoy for life in our home. It’s truly special and something that brings joy and depth to the space it’s in. It’s also larger than life which we love!
As a person she’s truly kind and caring and the energy she puts into her work reflects that.
